Liquid Diet Reviews and Resources
By Staff • Feb 6th, 2008 • Category: Diet, I-LReal liquid diets are generally prescribed after surgery, to give your body time to recovery.
Fad liquid diets are generally protein smooshed into liquids, with the idea that you live on this for days and weeks and months etc.
This is extremely unwise for a number of reasons. One, to keep off weight, you need to adopt a lifestyle change….it’s insanity to think you can starve yourself down to a specific weight, think, okay, whee! I’m here, resume eating the way you did before and NOT put those pounds back on!
And two, quick fixes in weight loss often result in yo-yo dieting - you lose 10 pounds, gain back 12, lose 14 pounds later on, gain back 18, etc.etc.etc.
Still, however, there are folks who really want to learn more about this idea. Thus, enjoy:

So….if you’re interested in pure liquid diets and you’re not doing this for a medical condition, forget it. If you’re interested instead in things like Medifast, it might make more sense.
Enjoy,
